Terms and conditions

This document (Terms and Conditions) defines the conditions applicable to sales between persons wishing to make a purchase via the Cuirs Guignard website https://www.cuirs-guignard.com, hereinafter referred to as "the customer"; and for the second part, the company Cuirs Guignard, registered address 10, rue de la Fontaine Noire - 79700 Mauléon, registered on the trade & company register with the reference 49073655000016, with share capital of €501,500, VAT number FR19490736550, hereinafter referred to as "cuirs-guignard.com".

These conditions concern only individuals with no business purposes.

 

1.Price

All prices of products are indicated in euros and are inclusive of taxes, with the exception of contribution to shipping fees (see paragraph 3. Shipping and Delivery).
Cuirs-guignard.com reserves the right to modify its prices at any time without notice. Products shall be invoiced based on prices applicable at the time of registering the order. Products remain the property of Cuirs-guignard.com until the full price has been received by Cuirs-guignard.com. The price must be paid in full and in one payment.

For orders made from abroad (excluding the European Union) or the French DOM-TOM, products will be invoiced excluding taxes. When you receive your order, you will have to pay customs duties and local VAT depending on the country of destination.

 

2.Order

The customer can order on the Internet via the site https://www.cuirs-guignard.com
Cuirs-guignard.com reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a customer with which there is a dispute related to the payment of a previous order or considered to represent a risk.
An order indicates acceptance of the prices and description of the products on sale. Cuirs-guignard.com promises to honour orders received via the website insofar as stocks are available. Should one or more product(s) ordered be unavailable, Cuirs-guignard.com shall inform the customer as soon as possible. The customer's order shall then be automatically cancelled and the corresponding sum refunded.

 

3.Shipping and Delivery

For each item purchased, Cuirs-guignard.com invoices a flat rate sum of €10, inclusive of taxes, to cover part of the shipping and insurance fees. However, Cuirs-guignard.com reserves the right to increase these shipping fees at any time, for a particular item, destination or store department.

Cuirs-guignard.com ships all of its order by "colissimo expert suivi". Your item shall be shipped within 7 business days, unless there is a stock shortage. In that case, you will be informed of the estimated delivery time-frame. The average shipping time is between 1 and 4 days. You will receive an e-mail when your order has been shipped.

 

4.Payment

The customer can select one of the following payment options:

  • bank card: Visa, MasterCard, Carte Bleue, issued in France,
  • cheque

Payment by bank card is simple, fast and secure for on-line purchases. We accept VISA, MASTER CARD, CARTE BLEUE.
We guarantee maximum security thanks to the most advanced encryption system on the market. When you click on the bank card of your choice, you will be directed to the secure payment site of Crédit Agricole, which uses the SSL security standard. Confidential data is sent in encrypted form to Crédit Agricole. We do not keep the banking information of bank card payments made by our customers for purchases on our site.

For cheque payments, the cheque must be issued by a bank in Metropolitan France and payable to Cuirs Guignard. It should be sent to Cuirs Guignard, 10, rue de la Fontaine Noire - 79700 Mauléon.

The cheque will be banked upon receipt.

 

5.Returns and refunds

5.1 Time-frame for returning an item
The customer has a legal time-frame of 15 days in which to exercise their right of withdrawal, with effect of the date of receipt of the goods.

5.2 Conditions for returning items
Returned product(s) must be new, unused and in their original, perfectly intact box. Before returning, the customer must make a request by e-mail or telephone. Cuirs-guignard.com will then issue the corresponding return request and send confirmation to the customer by e-mail. The customer will have to print the return request page and attach it to the package (inside). If this is not possible, the customer will have to write the return number on a blank piece of paper and put it inside the package.

The customer will then have to return the package using the method of their choice to Cuirs-guignard.com. The customer must keep proof of postage issued by the Post Office services. If the package is lost, a refund will not be made without this proof of postage.

5.3 Condition of products
All products must be returned perfectly intact.
Upon receipt of the package, Cuirs-guignard.com will assess the condition of the returned goods. Returns will not be accepted if the returned products have visibly been worn or damaged by the customer and if this use or damage makes the product unfit for resale. If the return is refused by Cuirs-guignard.com, the products will be returned to the customer at the expense of Cuirs-guignard.com, without the customer being entitled to any compensation or refund, with the exception of future exercise of its warranty rights on the goods sold.

5.4 Refund of returned goods
Subject to the return conditions, Cuirs-guignard.com shall refund the returned products within 15 days of receiving the goods.
For exchanges, you shall not have to pay shipping; the second shipment shall be paid by us.

 

6.Security of transactions

Cuirs-guignard.com does its utmost to ensure the confidentiality and security of data transmitted on the web and on the site https://www.cuirs-guignard.com. To ensure this, the website uses a secure payment module, SSL (Secure Socket Layer).

9.Liability

For every step of access to its site, the ordering process, delivery process, customer service or later services, the company Cuirs-guignard.com is subject to an obligation of diligence. The liability of Cuirs-guignard.com cannot be engaged for any inconveniences or damages inherent to using the Internet network, notably an interruption of service, external intrusion or the presence of computer viruses, or for any fact deemed to be force majeure, in compliance with legislation.

11.Right of access and rectification

11.1. Deontology

When you make a purchase, we only ask you for essential information (surname, first name, full address, e-mail) to ensure quality processing and attentive monitoring of your order. The data entered online is saved on a secure server and immediately encrypted.

11.2. Your rights
In compliance with the French Data Protection Act of 6th January 1978, you are entitled to access and rectify data concerning you. Through us, you may receive proposals from other companies or organisations, and you may also be informed of our offers by e-mail, telephone or post.
